    Our Service Arm provides up-to-date, state of the art services. We specialize in giving our customers the best possible service for their instruments. A skilled staff of factory-trained technicians will help you safeguard your investment by providing quality service and refurbishment on-site or at our service facility. We provide complete microscope service whether it is for preventative maintenance or major repairs.

 

     Our Preventative Maintenance/Service includes:

 

     •Pre-cleaning evaluation and inspection

     •Major strip down of instrument

     •Cleaning and minor alignment of optical components

     •Lubrication, adjustment and alignment of mechanical components

     •Minor calibration

     •Checking proper bulb use

     •Minor repairs where necessary

 

All microscopes are issued a serial number. This number provides us with a record of all components to the microscope as well as a history of all service work completed. With this system, we can provide:

 

     •Correct parts

     •Replacement Bulbs

     •Upgrades

     •Possible identification of problems over the phone

     •More efficient service follow-up

     •Effective cost management

 

Along with the serial number, a service sticker is affixed to each instrument identifying the date of service, recommended date of next service, calibration code, instrument serial number and the technician who completed the work.

 

 

Calibration/Traceable Calibration

 

Our Calibration Department is capable of calibrating most optical measuring devices, fully automated measurement systems and glass scales to mention a few products. We are currently working towards our ISO Laboratory certifcation (ISO 17025) and expect to have this completed in the near future.
